Admittedly, the boys are being good sports with the selfies.

21 July 22: Photos from the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and Dave’s and my date night at the Moulin Rouge! ~20,000 steps for me!

Speaking of tomorrow: we will be at the Louvre right when they open! Dave and I cannot WAIT to see all that art…it’s been a while (the Frieda Kahlo exhibit in Denver?)

We saw so many picnickers along the park southeast of the Eiffel Tower.
I was today years old when I learned that there are names of famous French individuals engraved around the Eiffel Tower. We went around 3 of the 4 sides trying to see which names we recognized. Many of the names are of scientists important to meteorology, like Coriolis…and Clapeyron.

UPDATE: Dave says it’s worth noting that the Eiffel Tower had its grand opening during the 1889 Paris World’s Fair…so it would make sense that they would put those names around it to show off their notable French individuals.
This is the River Seine. We will be taking the boat ride Friday night.
This is where we struggled with “How do we get through the massive traffic circle to see the Arc up close?”

Yay for Google: it guided us to go underneath the traffic circle!
The French tomb of the unknown soldier.
At the Moulin Rouge before the show.
