I’m now officially catching up on some smaller posts I had planned to share…but then forgot.
Let’s start with some sledding the family did at the beginning of February. We went up the road to Cottonwood Creek Community Park, which has numerous gentle hills throughout.
We took our little sleds that we used at Estes Park back in November and enjoyed going up and down the hills.
Dave enjoyed sledding too!
The boys kept bugging me to join in on the fun. I kept chickening out, saying that I was busy photographing the fun. But I relented and took one trip down the hill. Timmy and I sledded together and we ended up going THROUGH the fence seen in the background of the picture at the top.
I bruised my tailbone pretty badly and I sore for the rest of the weekend.
That was the last time our family did any sledding, in part because one of the sleds broke, but also because it was the last fresh snow we had in our community on a weekend. Every significant snowfall since then has been during the week.
