24 July 22: We made it to Berlin! Our apartment is VERY spartan, definitely East German-ish. But again, the location can’t be beat!

We arrived just in time for the 9pm sunset…and now it’s dinner time!

We had to do a little walking when we learned that our local station ON THIS END OF THE TRIP is also closed today. What the heck??? It was a 1 mile walk to our apartment building. You can see our high-rise just to the left of the domed building (the Bode Museum).
Our building is the leftmost one sticking up over the trees. Very close to the Fernsehturm.
No. 9 Rochstrße. Built in 1969. And it shows. VERY spartan and comrade-friendly.
OMG the view!! We opened the blinds to this as soon as we arrived.
