I’ll write more about our hike in Mt Olympus National Park later on, but Dave and I have really enjoyed playing the “license plate game” here in Eastern Europe. This was at a rest stop on Route 1 , the main highway between Thessaloniki and Athens. Lots of cars from Serbia, Bulgaria, and Ukraine on the road.
It’s also cool that at this rest stop we were parked under a roof of solar panels — when it is 35C/95F out, the covered parking was quite nice.
One final thought about driving in Greece: Dave and I are grateful for our two years of driving in Seoul. We have *definitely* needed those skills on this trip.
