Bora Bora 2025 Day 3: Exploring the St. Regis

Sake Selfie!

We spent the day today exploring the amazing things the resort has to offer.

We woke up to a pretty sunrise, visited with the fish who live in the artificial reef under our bungalow, had some shenanigans swimming underneath to get photos thru the glass floor, enjoyed an outdoor couples massage, snorkeled among thousands of the friendliest fish (photos of that later when the light is better), then had a fabulous Asian dinner with a sake pairing.

There were rain showers around much of the day — it only rained on our location for a few minutes this morning — and seeing Mt Otemanu look different every time we glanced in its direction was so mesmerizing.

Thanks to some jet lag, we were up night and early for the sunrise right out the back of our bungalow.
We had lots of opportunities to view the fish around our bungalow (and through the floor too!)
This is through one of the floor windows.

I floated under the bungalow…
This gazebo is where Dave and I had our couples massage. It was lovely.
Part of our Japanese dinner: a sashimi sampler.
This black ibis hung out near our bungalow each evening, picking off fish that napped under the catwalks to the bungalows.
