New Bluford Shops Conrail transfer caboose… This will be used with my 1980-era equipment, so please ignore the obvious steam-era equipment in the yard behind!
Recent acquisition… Micro Trains 3-dome tank car in Shippers Car Line paint. Here it is braced by a pair of Atlas 11,000 gallon tank cars to emphasize its small size. It has yet to be weathered for service on the Juniata Division.
The former PRR Juniata Shops at Altoona are still working hard for Norfolk Southern, and although they no longer build hundreds of Belpaire-equipped steam locomotives from raw steel each year, they still manufacture and rebuild diesel locomotives.
