Dave saved the day at dinnertime.<\/p>\n<p>We had a lazy Wednesday morning by the pool, then took an afternoon private boat tour around the island (in the lagoons between the barrier islands &#8212; the &#8220;motus&#8221; &#8212; and the main islands). Our boat captain, Sebastian, gave a lovely history of the island, the culture and traditions, and answered our bazillion questions about the weather, wildlife, and how things like water and electricity work on Bora Bora.
