That&#8217;s Mt Otemanu, on the main island. We are on a barrier island about a mile east of the mountain, one of many that surround the main island.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We made it to our destination at about 3pm today. I can&#8217;t get over how stunning it is here&#8230;we are at the hotel where they filmed the comedy &#8220;Couples Retreat&#8221; and it runs 24\/7 on one of the TV channels in the rooms.<\/p>\n<p>We are happy to be done with the travel&#8230;look forward to a lazy day tomorrow exploring the resort and snorkeling outside our bungalow.<\/p>\n<p>Not long after our arrival, we enjoyed a sunset &#8220;champagne sabering&#8221; with a champagne toast.
