As promised in the previous post, I calculated the miles flown, driven, railed, and walked during our trip*.

*I did not count the shorter Paris Metro, U-Bahn, and local bus rides. <\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Total Miles = 10222<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Air miles = 8295<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Automobile miles = 516<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rail miles = 1160<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bus miles = 130<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walking Miles = 111<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEN – EWR = 1150
EWR – CDG = 2605
MUC – DEN = 4540<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was able to pull this data from my United Mileage Plus statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Automobile Miles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This was simple: I simply took the Alamo Rental receipt and substracted the kilometers out (61679) from the kilometers in (62509). Then converted that to miles = 516<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rail Miles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Paris Airport to Downtown Paris = 14
Paris to Berlin = 545
Berlin to Lutherstadt-Wittenberg = 55
Lutherstadt-Wittenberg to Berlin = 55
Berlin to Munich = 383
Munich to Murnau = 36
Garmisch to Zugspitze = 12
Zugspitze to Garmisch = 12
Murnau to Munich = 36
Munich Marienplatz to Munich Flughafen = 22<\/p>\n\n\n\n
