I&#8217;ve had stainless steel sinks before and have always liked having them. Cleaning this will be a breeze! Except for the dishwasher, which is pretty awesome&#8230;the white dishwasher was motivation for painting the cabinets white.<\/p>\n<p>2.) <a href=\"http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/2015\/04\/bead-board.html\">New beadboard for the kitchen island<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>3.) Painted <a href=\"http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/2015\/04\/diy-kitchen-transformation-painted-kitchen-island.html\">kitchen island<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/2015\/05\/diy-kitchen-transformation-chairs.html\">bar stools<\/a> espresso brown.<\/p>\n<p>4.) <a href=\"http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/2015\/05\/diy-kitchen-transformation-moulding.html\">Installed crown moulding<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>4.) <a href=\"http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/2015\/05\/diy-kitchen-transformation-cabinet-paint.html\">Painted all other cabinets white<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>5.) <a href=\"http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/2015\/05\/diy-kitchen-transformation-hardware.html\">Applied cabinet hardware<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>6.) <a href=\"http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/2015\/06\/diy-kitchen-new-floor.html\">Refinished hardwood floor<\/a>. Painting the cabinets on our own saved a lot of money &#8212; we read recently that hiring someone for painting cabinets could cost as much as $50 per door!
