Here we are getting read to push off.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>On such a warm day at Park City Resort, the kids had grown weary of the icy skiing by early afternoon. Many of the trails that were open took us right past the\u00a0track\u00a0of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkcitymountain.com\/site\/activities-and-events\/on-mountain\/alpine-coaster\">Park City Alpine Coaster<\/a>, and Timmy was very interested in giving it a spin.<\/p>\n<p>Timmy and I decided to get some tickets and check it out!<!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3734\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_1059.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3734\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3734 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_1059-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1059\" width=\"630\" height=\"473\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_1059-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/thevollmerfamily.com\/MajorMom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_1059-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-3734\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The tickets were printed on the same paper as the lift tickets.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The line wasn&#8217;t that long, so in about 10 minutes, Timmy and I were able to board one of the small cars. I didn&#8217;t get a picture of Timmy\u00a0and me in one of the cars, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mtnadvisor.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Park-City-Alpine-Coaster.jpg\">but I did find a picture of what the car looks like here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So Timmy had to sit in front of me. Okay, time to put away the camera!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Park City Alpine Coaster is open year round, but be sure to check the daily hours. Tickets are available at the same locations at the base lodge and throughout town as the ski resort lift tickets. Rides are $20 per adult rider and $7 per passenger.
